{"id":143961,"date":"2022-10-17T21:10:47","date_gmt":"2022-10-17T21:10:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theomm.com\/product\/festival-camping-for-1-person-2023\/"},"modified":"2026-01-02T09:06:30","modified_gmt":"2026-01-02T09:06:30","slug":"festival-camping-2024","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/theomm.com\/da\/product\/festival-camping-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Festival Camping 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":true},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":true},"featured_media":143153,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_et_pb_use_builder":"on","_et_pb_old_content":"<h3 style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ!<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>WHAT IS THE CAMPING AREA LIKE?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Showfield at Grasmere is grassy and mainly flat.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is a \u2018pop-up\u2019 campsite; a field with portaloos and water taps (<strong>and amazing views!).\u00a0<\/strong>No electric hookups.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>A limited number of shower passes will be available to purchase in due course.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our friendly volunteers will greet you at the gate, and show you where to go to:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><b>Tents<\/b><\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Separate area families and groups that want to camp together.\u00a0 Car parking will be near to your tent, no more than 100m away and likely to be closer.\r\n<strong><em>Campervans under 6m in length<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 parked on grass\r\n<strong><em>Campervans 6m or over in length and Caravan<\/em><\/strong><em>s<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Majority will be parked on hardstanding.\u00a0 Caravan owners may be asked to park their car separately.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">To keep the camping area safe, once you have parked up for the weekend, we ask you not to move your vehicle.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>CAN WE CAMP NEXT TO OUR FRIENDS?<\/strong><b>\r\n<\/b>The only way to ensure this is by arriving at the same time.\u00a0 \u00a0 It is not possible to save a space for friends arriving later.\u00a0 It is also not usually possible to camp next to campervans\/motorhomes as these are in a separate area due to safety requirements.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>WHAT TIME DOES CAMPING OPEN AND CLOSE?\r\n<\/strong>Camping and parking open at 3pm on Friday and closes at 5pm on Sunday.\u00a0 All bookings include camping on Friday and Saturday night.\u00a0 You are welcome to arrive on Saturday but there is no reduction in price.\u00a0 \u00a0Unfortunately, camping is NOT available on Sunday night.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>EVENT SITE RULES\r\nDogs<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Well behaved dogs are welcome but are\u00a0<strong>NOT<\/strong>\u00a0allowed to accompany competitors on the course, be inside the Marquee or be left unaccompanied in tents\/cars.\u00a0 They should be kept on a lead at all times.\r\n<strong>Fires<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 No open fires or charcoal BBQs permitted at the Event HQ\/camping field.\r\n<strong>Noise<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 Quiet site after 11pm.\u00a0 No private generators or sound systems at any time.\r\n<strong>Illegal drugs \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Illegal drug use will not be tolerated.\u00a0 Please do not bring and\/or take drugs.\u00a0 Any drug use will be reported to the police.\r\n<strong>U18s<\/strong>.
