Ultralight Air-Permeable Primaloft Insulation
Ultra-light Core range introduces a new type of insulation, synthetic plume woven directly onto a single layer mesh fabric. Made entirely from PRIMALOFT® NEXT Insulating Fabric Technology the core range offers the same warmth as other synthetic insulation products but with half the weight and the breathability better than a long sleeve tee.
The Core range look is as unique as its performance. The adaptable layer is suited to activities requiring different levels of exertion. As an outer layer the mesh fabric releases excessive heat and moisture whilst adding an overlayer traps in heat when it’s needed.
The Core Jacket uses the 125g PRIMALOFT® NEXT Insulating Fabric Technology, the thicker version of the 75g PRIMALOFT® NEXT fabric used in the Core Vest & Hoodie.

PRIMALOFT® NEXT Insulating Fabric Technology – 125g

PRIMALOFT® NEXT Insulating Fabric weaves PrimaLoft fibres onto a mesh giving a super high volume and open structure. Fabrics insulate by trapping pockets of air that the wearer’s heat cannot pass through. Core structure is exceptional at creating these pockets. However, the openness also allows for a light breeze to disturb these air pockets and remove the insulation effect. Core uses this to its advantage; put a light shell on over the top for the best possible warmth to weight layer and then when you get too hot, adjust/remove only the shell and you can keep pushing hard to the summit without a bulky layer to stash.

A single mesh fabric holds the insulation plume in place reducing the need for extra fabric layers and halving the weight and pack size.
