Why I run:
I run because wild places are where I disconnect from the constant noise of modern life and my mind stops carrying things, and for however long I am out for, I get to be as free as the things living there. With over 35 years of running, now over 50 years old, I'm not bored of training and still getting on the podium of races, which is probably down to listening to my body, embracing the easy days, and treating the racing as a bonus.
