OMM invented stretch waterproofs a little over 20 years ago, we’ve improved on the technology over the years to reduce weight, improve breathability and add features but the formula has stayed the same. Now in its 5th generation, the latest Kamleika Technology builds upon decades of design and thorough testing in the harshest of races.
The Kamleika takes the athlete onto the mountain with a shell layer that protects from wind and rain whilst stretching to give freedom of movement and so aiding athletic performance. Highly breathable, lightweight and durable thanks to the Nylon face fabric.
Kamleika is the choice for people who have recognised that they may have to wear a waterproof all day and yet still head for the fells anyway.

20 YEARS OF STRETCH
We released the world’s first stretch waterproof shell over twenty years ago and have been perfecting the technology ever since.
By combining the amazing 4-way mechanical stretch of the Nylon face fabric with the incredibly flexible membrane, we are able to create a waterproof fabric that moves with you, whilst offering a soft and silent touch completely unlike a traditional waterproof.
With the feel more like that of a lightweight softshell but with the protection of a fully membraned, seam-taped waterproof shell, the Kamleika range is in a class of its own.
FOUL WEATHER PROTECTION
Designed and tested to withstand the relentless conditions faced by OMM competitors. 20,000mm hydrostatic head and 20,000gsm/24hrs breathability with the added durability of windproof Nylon face fabric.
Whilst the membrane works to keep moisture at bay, the Durable Water Repellancy (DWR) treatment on the face fabric acts as a first line of defence, holding precipitation on the surface of the garment, allowing the membrane beneath to breathe.

TEMPERATURE & MOISTURE MANAGEMENT
37.5 Technology particles have been added to the Kamleika fabric to enhance vapour management and maintain a comfortable active temperature. During testing runners wearing Kamleika with 37.5 Technology were able to maintain a stable temperature and regulate internal moisture when switching between flat running and ascents.
The addition of 37.5 Technology broadens the range of output levels the runner can operate at whilst remaining comfortable, reducing stop-start to change layering as you work.
